Our Anchorage, Alaska Piano Showroom Closing Updates
New Kawai & Yamaha Pianos Still Available
At Showroom Closing Prices
Due to the retirement of our local manager, our Anchorage, Alaska piano showroom has closed.
While all in-stock inventory from this showroom has now been sold, Alaska customers still have a final but limited-time opportunity to purchase new Yamaha and Kawai upright, grand, digital and hybrid pianos from inventory that would have traditionally been allocated to the Alaska market — at showroom closing prices.
To receive information about this available inventory, please complete the form to your right or call us at 907-317-7998. Our team can assist you by phone, video consultation and personalized piano recommendations to help you select the right piano for your home, family or institution.
Our brick-and-mortar showrooms in Seattle and Portland will continue as the official Alaska dealer for Yamaha and Kawai pianos and will remain available for after-delivery support, service coordination and customer assistance moving forward.
This is a special and final opportunity to purchase some of the world’s most respected pianos at significant savings associated with our showroom closing event.
If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a piano, we encourage you to contact us while these final opportunities remain available.

Meet the Team
Classic Pianos Alaska is a collaboration between Classic Pianos’ founder, Maurice Unis, and a national team of piano specialists who met in Alaska more than 20 years ago and who share a devotion to supporting the Alaska music communities and arts organizations.
Mike Walsh
Mike has worked with Classic Pianos for more than 10 years, having begun selling pianos in 1998 after a successful Air Force career. He’s an accomplished trombonist, and has been a musician with the Anchorage Jazz Ensemble for over 25 years. He’s also a founding member of the Anchorage Brass Choir and an avid Pickleball player who also enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Maurice Unis
Maurice represents the third generation of the Unis family and he, along with his three sons and an incredible team of piano professionals, have built the largest and most awarded piano dealership in North America. He often says that there is no secret to success: “Just give the buyer the widest possible choice, devote yourself to customer service, and be happy to take the piano back on a trade-up, no matter how many years down the line.”
Brian Unis
As Head of Operations, Brian is the go-to person to ensure all aspects of the organization are running at full-steam. Starting in the business as a teenager, Brian still works tirelessly, striving to meet and exceed customer expectations. With a love of pianos and a deep commitment to customers, Brian can always be counted on for doing anything to ensure customers are delighted with their purchase.
