This Steinway Model L is a solid option for players who enjoy the signature Steinway feel and tone while wishing to avoid the cost of a new or more recently made instrument. At 5’10½”, it offers a wide, nuanced sound that brings real presence to a room, yet remains comfortably sized for most music rooms and living spaces.

As with all Steinways we offer, this Model L has been selected with great care. Not every Steinway meets our standards, and we only present instruments that truly reflect the quality and character people expect from the name. This piano has been well cared for, and—following our “Steinways for Less” tradition—is priced significantly below that of a similar new model. For reference, the MSRP of a new Model O (the same size as the L) is $117,900. The purchase includes:
