Jill Timmons is an international artist-educator, whose work is sculpted by the ever-changing global market. Jill performs internationally as both a solo pianist and an ensemble artist. She has performed under the auspices of the National Endowment for the Arts and has recorded on the Laurel, Centaur, and Capstone labels. Ken Burns chose music from her Amy Beach recording as part of the soundtrack to his documentary, The War. As an NEA Fellow, she recorded the complete works for solo piano by American composer, William Bergsma. In 2021–2022, Jill was a Visiting Fellow at Yale University.
