Steinway & Sons M
Finish: Satin Ebony
Serial No.: 189412
This Steinway Model M has been rebuilt to exceptional standards. Model M grand pianos were introduced in 1911 with a scale designed by Henry Ziegler, nephew of William Steinway, and are most often found in homes and smaller studios where music is important. The piano is a half-foot longer than the Model S, and the longer strings and bigger soundboard produces a richer bass, a singing treble, and longer sustain. This particular instrument has the “signature” Steinway sound and is priced far below that of a new model. (Compare new at $78,900)
