Gateway Church purchased a Young Chang Grand Piano from Classic Pianos in 2010 after fundraising by our congregation. We have been very grateful to be able to use this instrument for our services the last several years! I called today to … More check on it's value for our insurance company and Fred promptly returned my call.Thank you Classic Pianos for serving us well!

To Fred, Dave, front staff ... et al and thank you Maurice Unis who collectively from the moment I arrived at the Portland store were incredibly polite, professional, helpful, and sincere. I really can not think of a business model I ever … More experienced that measures up to the standards as demonstrated by Classic Pianos in Portland Oregon. Truly the highest standard in customer focus and service in presenting their inventory, attending to the customers needs and wants, attentive listening, and following through after a purchase. One could write a glowing Harvard case study for marketing and service. Prost

I had the most pleasant experience working with Fred last week when working out a "trade up" experience. Fred was so much fun, while providing me with everything possible to make my exchange fit our needs. He took as much time … More as I needed to make a decision that would work well for us. Fred has a lifetime of experience and really knows his business. Can't say enough about Fred and Classic Piano's. Great company.....great employee!

My daughter was fortunate enough to be invited to record at Classic Pianos this afternoon. When we arrived we were blown away by the generosity of every employee and specifically, Fred, who greeted us at the door and made our daughter feel … More so welcome. I had a great time working with Fred Riley at Classic Pianos in Portland. I contacted Fred about my interest in a grand piano and discussed a budget. I came in with a friend of mine to look at their piano inventory which is massive. To … More top it off, Fred is very knowledgeable about pianos and he was not pushing me to buy any particular one. I had a sound and touch in mind and he showed me about 15 or more pianos in my budget and we discussed them all. I spent over three hours in the store and it was well worth it. Fred left us to play all of the pianos in my budget and several under budget ones, along with expensive pianos as well and I eventually found my piano. It was a restored 1930 Mason & Hamlin AA 6'2" Grand. Even Beethoven approved it! It is a magnificent instrument and I can't thank Fred enough for helping me realize my dream. I highly recommend Fred and everyone at Classic Pianos. They are top notch!
