Five-Star Trade-Up Policy

Your new or used piano purchase is an investment for a lifetime. But what if your musical needs change over the years? The answer is simple: When you’re ready, you can trade in your instrument for a store credit to be used toward the purchase of another piano of equal or greater value.

  • Acoustic Pianos: Lifetime 100% trade-up value
  • Digital pianos: 100% trade-up value for two years following purchase
  • Acoustic pianos with player or silent systems: 70% trade-up value for the life of the instrument

Awesome store! We came in search of a piano bench. The fella that helped us was kind and patient and once I settled on a bench, he put it together for me. As we walked by some of the gorgeous, wood in-lay pianos he stopped to explain who did such beautiful work and what the piano looked like before. Classic Pianos has every range of piano, new or used. Definitely recommend this business.read more

This store is amazing. We got a used piano during a holiday sale for a very good price. They let us into the show room and let us sit and play the different pianos at our own leisure. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. We found the perfect piano for us and didn't feel pressured into buying. Good quality pianos here.read more

A great place if you want a piano. The cost of pianos may seem steep, but these are high quality. They also sell reasonably priced used pianos. The cost of delivery is very reasonable in the Portland area. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are in the market for a piano, this place has whatever you could want: electric, baby grand, full grand, upright, professional or beginner. I did not use the restoration services, but the final products are beautiful!read more

We received outstanding service and appreciate that we were presented with many options, but not pushed in any direction. The piano is for my teenage son and they did an outstanding job speaking with him respectfully, answering his questions, and serving as knowledgeable guides rather than pushy sales reps. He loves his piano and it is a perfect fit for him, for our family, and for our home.read more

I went to their performance space, which is next-door to the piano store. It's designed like a community center, but it has a recital/recording room, and the acoustics and lighting and seating in there are all just superb! Outstanding set by "Stephanie Strange and the Familiars" by the way...read more

I just purchased the most beautiful piano from Classical Pianos located at 3003 SE Milwaukie Ave, Portland, OR 97202. First, they really know pianos and gave me a thorough tour of all their pianos within my interest. Second, they give great piano play value for their prices. In less than 4 days, my piano was delivered into my home with care, on time, with great customer service. The piano came today- pristine, polished, perfectly tuned, and ready to be played. I couldn't be happier with the attention I received when I entered Classical Pianos, how the store presented their vast selection, the amount I paid, what I actually received, and how I received it. I think everything went so well because all their services from technicians, sales, clerks, tuners, schedulers, delivery, etc, are in-house and under great management. This is why I love successful pride of ownership in a business and wanted to tell you about it. Ask for Fred to show you the pianos.read more

A large selection of mid-level to high level pianos. A little bit of a pain to get checked in and escorted back to the piano showroom, but the sales staff was extremely knowledgeable. I am a long time pianist and appreciated their expertise and wide selection.read more
